Person in News

There are some of names which we search on Google, not on Facebook.

The universal problem with almost all of the exam magazines and books is that these books/magazine cover practically every name which appear in newspaper in last one year. I believe, neither its not practically possible for aspirants to memorize all these names, nor it's required.

But the bigger issue is because we can't memorize 1000 names, we don't know which 40-50 names are often asked, because these names are lost in the list of 1000 names.

Based on my experience of several exams and teaching experience, I have categorized the important names so that when a name appears in newspaper you could understand what is important and what is not.

1. Head of important offices and commissions e.g. CAG, RBI, Finance Commission etc

2. If an Indian lady reach on the top post of any organisation, she becomes hot favourite for current affairs e.g. CMD of SBI, Bhartiya Mahila Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI bank, Kiran Mazumdar of Biocon etc

3. If an Indian becomes top boss of any MNC, we Indians start claiming - 'Dekho, Indians kahan tak pahunch gaye, we are the best'. e.g. Apple CEO, Microsoft CEO, Pepsi CEO

4. Any International award winner Indian or shortlisted in top 5 e.g. Man Booker Prize winners, Noble prize winner

5. Some famous national level award winners e.g. Bharat Ratna, Khel Ratna, National Film Awards (not Filmfare, IIFA or xyz awards) etc
